Nice one, I actually use the same solution for my old ASL. A more compo-ish solution could be as set of AnimatedImageVector and a set of related state. Each time you received a new state you provide an AnimatedImageVector and start the animation. But it could be very messy if your ASL has several states

I can see the animations for the un-selected icon are different with the original one. Was it intentional or a limit of the new code?
